WHAT TO EXPECT DURING
SAFE MERCURY REMOVAL ?

During the process of safe amalgam mercury removal and replacement I use numerous protective protocols that will ensure your overall safety. This will include isolation devices, special suctions, vacuum systems, water coolants, room filters/air purifiers, external exhaust systems, ambient oxygen sources, protective eye wear, face and body protection gear for you and my team, detoxing sprays and ointments. As one of the first dental practices to implement these strict protocols, we don’t take this treatment lightly. Thanks for the guidance of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and Dental Wellness For You which began this process years ago and helped lead us to be a mercury-free and metal-free dental office We are grateful that there are others who care about your health and help guide us in your overall well being.

Safe Mercury Removal FAQ

Dental amalgam is a liquid mercury and metal alloy mixture used in dentistry to fill cavities caused by tooth decay. They consist of over 50 percent mercury and the remaining heavy metals consist of silver, tin, zinc and other trace metals. None of which are good for our bodies.

Some call it the “silver filling” because it can take on a shiny appearance. Though, over time they will corrode and become black. They take on an appearance from black to silver. Have you check your mouth recently?

Go to an experienced dentist who is familiar with the standards set by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT).

As a holistic dentist, your overall well being is my #1 concern. I learned years ago that amalgam fillings contain high amounts of mercury and heavy metals that have an adverse effect on our overall health and can cause chronic conditions. I never use amalgam fillings and always provide safe mercury removal techniques established by the most knowledgable organizations and professionals.
