Through the use of advanced technology, my dental studio is able to use less hazardous materials. As a proud member of the Eco-Dentistry Association, I am dedicated to finding better ways to conserve our precious resources. Rest assured, as better eco-friendly materials and systems become available, I will incorporate them.
As you know, I am a mercury-free dentist and I’m on a mission to remove mercury from your mouth, and from dentistry as a whole. But where does that toxic merucry go? Fear not, when I remove the mercury amalgam fillings from your mouth, I dispose of them in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner. The water and mercury particles accumulated through the removal process are run through a mercury amalgam separator that catches the particles of mercury so it can be disposed of as biohazard waste. Someday there will be no mercury in dentistry and our mouths and the environment will be much happier places!
Did you know?
Each ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4000 kilowatts of energy and 7000 gallons of water. This represents a 64% energy savings, a 58% water savings and 60 pounds less of air pollution!
Let's all try to decrease our carbon footprints.
